I sincerely believe your participation in this forum will enhance you total experience with your new Ford F150! That being said....
The "Cotus thing" is found at wwwqa.cotusa.ford.com
To utilize it you will need some information from your dealer:
Start with-
Your order number
Your dealers Code
Your last name
Or: VIN from your new F150 (that will come a few days or more later.
Then you may want to visit: https://www.etis.ford.com/
There you can see more info (when it is updated) hasn't been real helpful for me.
And lastly to get your window sticker you can visit:

Or
http://researchmaniacs.com/VIN-Numbe...cker/Ford.html
It may take a little time to get your window sticker. Mine didn't show up until the truck had completed Order Processing and moved into Production.

I have been into the Jeep thing for a number of years and hang around the Jeep forums and have learned and implemented many things learned from them and I'm sure the same will happen here, And at some point I hope to become a "tip" giver rather than just a tip searcher like I did on the Jeep forums. The dealer has the option of establishing a priority code for the order. That priority would play a part in how quickly the vehicle is accepted into the Ford Production system. Once the order is accepted it is my understanding that Ford also has a priority code they use to "fit" the order into their production. It is all here in the F150 Forum. Perhaps at the beginning of this thread,

Hello all, I am new to the forum and am in the process of ordering a 2016 F150 XLT Supercrew, 6 1/2' bed, 3.5L V6 EcoBoost, 4X4, 3.55 Elec. Locking Axle. I am putting the order in this Tuesday. My options include XLT Sport Appearance Package, FX4 Off-Road, Trailer Tow Package, Navigation, Extended Range Fuel Tank, Fog lamps, Manual Trailer tow mirrors with power glass, 5" accent color tubular running boards, 18" Six-spoke machined aluminum wheels with magnetic painted pockets (The paint color is Magnetic) with black interior. Any recommendations on other options or possible options not to include?

I'm curious how accurate the cotus site is. I was getting pretty excited last Thursday when I checked it and saw that I had an eta of 14 days. When I checked it this morning it shows I have an eta of 5 days. Not sure how that works, but sure hope it's accurate.
