The truck is finally in Edmonton, now lets see how long it takes for it to get on a truck and get to Fort Mac!?

My first post - woohoo!

Ordered my F150 last week. I didn't realize I could do all this cool tracking and such! I'll need to ask my dealer for the info. I did get a text from my buddy at the dealership who said that it was already in the build stage!

First time post here, but I've been lurking hard for the last few weeks. Started the build process on a Lariat in the 3rd week of March and using the tips on this thread I've been able to track the process.

My truck had a build date of 0422 or April 22 according to my window sticker, with a blend of 1274. Now that the truck is built and cotus is up to date, it's showing a build date of 0424 which would be Sunday. I was under the impression that the plants don't operate on the weekends. Is a Sunday build day possible?

Either way, I'm getting super pumped and she is in transport! First pick up for me.

Default Ordered new Magnetic Lariat Sport No Clue on VIN

I had been working with our local dealer on ordering a new 2016 magnetic lariat sport. After reading all the posts on how quickly most had been contacted by the dealer with a VIN number I thought i'd call today, since it's been a week. Their response made me think that this was something that they didn't normally do or if they did, they didn't get in a big hurry about it. My sales guy was out but the sales manager I spoke with said it could be several weeks before a vin was generated. I guess more than anything i'd like to be able to go online and check things out just to ensure they got the order entered in correctly. Is this info something I am dependent on the dealership to get me, or is there a number with Ford that I can call and get some answers. Thanks. New guy here to the site and ordering a new truck. Not sure how things are supposed to work.

Ask for a copy of the DORA. That should have your order number and dealer code on it. You can use that with your last name to get your vin on wwwqa.cotusa.ford.com. The site changes often and sometimes doesn't work, but that might be the easiest way to get it.

Welp.. today is (supposedly) the delivery date and no word from the dealership yet. I'm hoping it at least lands there today so I can pick it up tomorrow. The couple weeks it took to get the truck picked out and ordered didn't bother me. I've even been surprisingly patient over the last 6 weeks but now we're down to the last couple days it's getting hard to wait!

That's pretty weird, at the start of this thread it lists this website as the one to access for potential info on the truck http://www.cotusb.ford.com/. It looks almost identical to the one you recommended, but when i enter my order number and dealer code, I get nothing. On the one you listed however, it gives me an order date, order number and vin number. The info on the page seems kind of vague, probably because it's so early in the process. How do you tell which plant it's being built at by the vin.

Enter your VIN here at ETIS to get production plant:
