Why don't you think your order? Once your truck is been built your dealer should be able to print a invoice which is an as-built invoice and you will see what is your truck.

My dealer made me sign my signature on the DORA to avoid this. I agreed with the policy too. I don't want to deal with it.

Did the DORA not match what showed up?

Dora matches what I ordered (2.7) but the vin indicates that it is a 5.0.

Wondering if maybe our ford service rep gave me the wrong vin? But I have a fairly uncommon last name so if they look it up using that I doubt they could be mistaken.

I would contact your dealer ASAP. Has the truck been manufactured yet?

Called them last night, was told it was ordered correctly and that I must have been given the wrong pin, and that i need to be patient.

So whatever I guess, all I know is that the 1.2k difference will price me out of the vehicle so guess Ill just wait.

From what I understand once pin has been generated it is too late. I im'd our girl here to see if she can confirm.

I would talk to FordService - they can confirm for you.. I can't imagine a VIN lying like that.

This why I spent so much time making sure that I got everything I wanted on the order form and why the dealer had me sign it.

Concern I have is that I did do this. All documentation is correct except for vin. Not like I'm mad, 5.0 is a good motor. Just can't afford it.

Well then if it shows up with the wrong engine it would give you alotnof leverage for a free upgrade.
