Just called Ford service and no luck with any additional info as what going on with my truck that was built on 11/24.I can't understand how amazon can track a $10.00 package and Ford can't tell me where my $55,000 truck is. Very frustrating!

Or tell me why my KR was bumped last minute from a build DAY of NOV16 to WEEK of JAN 25. Ordered in SEPT 2015, might get in MAR 2016...Or I might try something other than Ford after five new F150's in a row...

I've never had a vehicle built and after some of the problems I read on here I probably never will. I'll just stick to telling the dealer to find exactly what I want from another dealer, never had a problem with that.

Dealer did a national search and no trucks equipped as I wanted; KR, (no 601 package-I do not like the deployable running boards) short bed, FX4, 5.0, 3.73, sun roof, 20" caribou wheels, bed extender, wheel liners, tow package & 36 gal tank. I was willing to take any two-tone in white, white platinum or ruby red. I have ordered 4 of my last 5 F150's and never had an issue till now.

No 2015 or 2016 Heavy Duty Payload trucks can be found on dealer lots: special order only.

When you order just remember there is always a chance of delays.

Based on the too numerous accounts of delay after delay, mostly without any explanation from Ford, it seems that there is a significant likelihood of a custom order delay.

Especially in the beginning of a new model year.

Yes, I ordered March 2015 for a 2015 (cancelled by Ford) and again September 3rd for a 2016. The order still in "order processing" status. I am amused by many of the posters impatience.

It is expected to have longer wait times when ordering a build that is marked "late availability" and / or in short supply such as frames for HD payload packages or anything that is "limited" production...It is NOT normal to expect 5 months to order a standard build, no late availability, high production American made vehicle such as an F150.
