Default 2016 blutooth issue

So in my 2013 i have the issue with the blutooth disconnecting and after two trips to the dealer i asked what they did and they indicated they just check i have the most recent software release then just pull the sunc fuse. So since i found that out and not wanting to take about 3 hrs of work off i would pull fuse my self i would have to do this once a month and that seem to work for about a month and it wasnt just my phone it would do this to the wifes as well. SUCH A PAIN IN THE ***. I thought i wouldnt have this problem the the 2016 but i was wrong.

I tried the so called "master" on fords websit and that didnt ****en help. So has anyone had the same issue as me and have you pulled the sync fuse?

Apple or Android?
4.2" or 8" touch screen?
Do you know the vehicle build date?
What is your current Sync software version?
Have you ever received a “Initializing BT. Please try again” message

I like Android and 8" much better. Because of larger screen.

When I bought mine, it had the same issues, took it to the dealer and they replaced the apim module and never had a problem since with the bluetooth and it didn't matter what bluetooth connection it all worked. I hope you get your issue resolved, I know how much it blows when the bluetooth isn't working. And yes the master reset won't do anything and they're proabably going to try that at the dealership, just let them know you already did and it didn't do anything.

Did they do it on their own or did you have to tell them to replace it? is there a TSB?

Are you sure it's not a problem with the phone? Especially since it has happened on 2 different trucks?

I had a problem with my phone not downloading my contacts.. My salesman did a Master Reset on the Sync 3 and that seems to have fixed it..

Based on your build date, there currently aren't any SSMs, TSBs, GSBs or recalls addressing this issue.

Hi 2quik,

Have you spoken to the dealer about pulling the fuse? I don't recommend that route without consulting them. Get back to me when you get the chance.
