I have a feeling it's not going to be the latches causing my doors not to open next time I try to leave......

I had a couple of issues last winter and had the dealer do the TSB this summer (while also addressing the block heater cord).

We had rain yesterday and it was 18 degrees this morning. My rear door stuck a little when I opened it from the ice around the perimeter, but neither front nor rear latch stuck. I'm crossing my fingers that the issue is at least mostly resolved.

I had the drivers side latch fail to work at -3c this fall. We've just rolled through a week of -39c and I never had an issue. Go figure.

Default Recall 19N06

I had the recall done to my 2018 F-150 and after completing the work I started to drive my 150 home. Immediately I noticed a lot (4 times as noisy)of wind noise. Talking with the service person their comment was yes they have had issues with increased wind noise. I've talked with Ford Co. and they asked me to take the truck back in to be checked. (Currently in for a check for the noise.) Looking back at past issues with Ford trucks I see numerous issues with the door locks and found where there is/was a lawsuit against Ford for door locks. If my truck is not returned to the original noise level I'm considering a law suit against Ford.

Anyone else that had the 19N06 noise issue I would like to hear from you.

I would do a google search and see if there is a forum/ thread about that recall.

Just got a new to me 15 SCrew XLT. It hit -24 ambient up here this morning and was the first time I experienced this issue. Luckily it was only the rear door so I was still able to get to work. I'll be trying the WD-40 and pull the plug fix to see if I can keep it from getting worse! Thanks to those on here who work to keep everyone informed...I'm learning a lot about my new ride.

... well, crap.

-3 degrees this morning, snowing yesterday and in the high 20s/low 30s, and no latch this morning on my driver's door (rear driver's side was fine, though)

Default Will the DIY fix work for my issue?

So I can see there are two different symptoms people are having and I’m not sure if the fix works for both or only one.

Issue
1.) Door locks will open and close via FOB, power lock button, etc. but when door is attempted to be closed, it will not latch and remains open to the outside atmosphere (bounces open).

2.) Door lock will not unlock or lock via FOB or power door lock button.

My issue is the second one where my two back doors will not unlock or lock electronically but I can unlock it by hand. Once unlocked, I can open the doors and they latch just fine. Then I need lock the door while it’s open by hand and close the door to ensure no one can get in while I’m not at the vehicle. Unfortunately the truck doesn’t provide any audible indication that a door is unlocked after pressing the lock FOB button. It does honk twice if the door is not closed.

will the DIY (pull plugs, WD-40, PB blaster, Fluid Film) fix work for me? Got these today and hoping they’re the right ones!
