I'm really new to all this so bear with me. When some one say s they have a 1" block, does that mean they removed the factory block and replaced it with a 1 in?
I have a 2019 Screw Sport 4x4 with a 2.5in level. It's still about .75in in high in the back. Can I replace the rear block to level it out? What are my options? Every 2.5in level I see is closer to level than mine.
Leave it alone, a truck should have a modest amount of rake when empty. As soon as you put a few hundred pounds in the bed it's going to be level. It IS a truck after all.
I saw the picture from your other thread and I agree that you should leave it alone. It looks great as it is and gives you the perfect amount of rake in my opinion.
However, if you’re dead set on making it dead level, you could remove the rear block and get something adjustable up front allowing you to tinker with it to your heart’s delight.
Keep in mind that the overall height of the truck will be 1.25” lower than it is now so bigger tires might not fit. If you want bigger tires, you could do UCA’s and and coilovers that go up to 3” or just get a 4” lift and level it that way.
Lol... Man, some strong opinions about rake in here...
I used a 2.25" level kit and still had 1" of rake. It looked fine...but not exactly how I wanted it.
I tried 1" lowering shackles which made me about 1/4" low in the rear...after a TON of looking on here, 1/2" of rake is what I like the most.
I bought these 1" blocks from eBay https://www.ebay.com/itm/SR-Ford-F-1...wAAOSwXXxZTfqL
And had a local machine shop mill off 3/16's.
I actually installed them 15 minutes ago. Now my fender measurements are 40" front, 40.5" rear.
Excessive...or obsessive? Sure, but I like subtle mods.
