Default Why do an sas?

Hi everybody. So I had planned on lifting my truck around 9" to a foot. I was given really good advice when I was told to swap the ttb out for a d44. However, do I need to do the sas, our can I simply lift the truck the way it is? I won't need much articulation. Thanks.

Sorry if I confused you about the sas and lifting. It was the best way to achieve your foot you wanted. If you are just looking for something cheap and easy...rough country has a 6 inch suspension lift for our trucks. I actually have it on right now with the ttb. I got it for 775 shipped to my house. And tht was with all the extra addons you can choose. Thn if you want more just throw a 3inch body lift on and you have your 9. Sorry again..I didn't mean to make it sound as tho you couldn't lift your truck. Here is a pic of mine with the 6inch rough country lift on the stock axle.

Is that as high as you can go with the ttb?

Superlift makes an 8inch suspension...but its like 2 grand. I think any more thn 6 suspension on a ttb and your askin for problems. I have a bunch with mine and thts why I'm swappin

Okay. That helps a lot. I just thought, "why can't I lift it with the axle I've got?" But that makes sense. Thanks. Oh, and another question... Would I need a drop pitman arm, if I'm doing 9"of lift?

If you get the lift from rough country it automatically comes with the 6 inch drop pitman arm. It comes with all brackets and aeverythin to do it. If you add a 3 inch body lift to give you 9 inches you won't need to change the suspension lift since its only puttin the body up. And the body lift comes wth the steering extentions and all tht good stuff

If you did a 9 inch suspension lift thn yes. Thy make a pitman arm tht works for 6-9 inch lifts for tht axle
