Default What's the difference?

Hey all I am a newbie that has been doing lots of searching for all and any info on SD to MAF. I have a 95 5.8 with E40D. I have been searching for the correct ECM I have found that the, F5TF-12A650-BYA is the pick of most but what is the difference from the F5TF-12A650-BXA?
Thanks

They both are 5.8 and E40D but is it the mapping or tune ability that makes them different?

There aren't any MAF 5.8s. You have to use a 5.0 MAF computer for a 5.8 MAF conversion.

Your '95 is OBDI. While the '96 5.8 is MAF it is also OBDII which means you can't use it unless you rewired the whole truck. The California '95 5.8 is also MAF but I'm not sure which system it uses.

They are all OBD II and it is not an easy swap but can be done. Seen numerous trucks that did the swap because SD won't run the aftermarket heads and cams.
