You lock your keys out of your truck. I'm sitting in the parking lot right bow figuring out a way to have a spare around at all times. Where do you guys hide them or what do you to prevent this from happening.

That's never a fun afternoon, been there done that.

Well my current truck solves that problem with the keypad in the door. I lock my keys in it quiet often now, lol.

My old truck I used one of those magnet hid-a-key things and had it on the inside of the frame rail up out the way where it wouldn't get knocked off.

I feel your pain; I did that twice in just a few months. I tend to keep a spare key in my wallet, but the key to my new truck is too bulky. I'm thinking about getting one of those magnetic boxes that hold a spare key and putting it under my truck somewhere. Although, I do have the keyless entry on my truck now, so after I get my code programmed, I won't have to worry about it.

Did that one morning after work, by the time my buddy drove me home to get my key, drive back to my truck and drive home again it was 3:30 am. Needless to say I was mad, had to wake up at 7am for school. Threw my spare in my tool box under a coat or something so it's not to obvious and haven't needed it yet.

I don't have a clip on my back window. Just in case i can always climb in the bed and squeeze in that way.

My billfold has a couple of slots in it for spare keys.

They make a safe that mounts inside your receiver hitch. And its a combination lock so you don't have to worry about losing/locking that key in the cab

the black magnetic key box fits nicely under the bed rail, and if it does fall off(bumps, offroading, or what ever) it will fall into the bed.

i personally leave my keys in my truck and it unlocked people dont even come round my house after dark ( i live way out down rural a county road) and two, if i'm out and about you would be one crazy **** to mess with my truck.
