what do you do when
I locked my doors just because I was downtown at taco bell. I won't leave it unlocked downtown. But where I live is a different story. I wonder if there is a way to install a keypad from a newer vehicle in my truck? Now that would be one of a kind hah, my redneck *** would probably end up putting a garage door keypad attached to the door
go get an old school master cylinder spring kinda looks like a wide mouth open "u" keep it in the truck in the bed its great for opening quarter windows just insert it throught the rubber depress the button turn and voila
Now I just keep a screwdriver under my bed mat for cases just like this.
I have BCAA, well my aunt does and I'm covered. I call and they can unlock any vehicle I want
I accidentally locked the keys into this car I was thinking about getting once and called and they came and unlocked it without asking any questions :thumbups: but they saw the keys on the seat, so that might be why, too.
Plus, my aunt and gf has spares and neither know how to drive stick, so I'm good with them having those keys
lol

my f150 and f250 had keys hidden on them when i bought them (i didnt know where they were at the times) on the f150, the PO ducktaped a spare above the gas cap so you couldn't see it by just opening the door (found that while cleaning out behind the gas door) on the f250 it was much simpler, they had a spare underneath the plastic bed liner. i have a spare inside my rear bumper right by where you would attach the safety chains.
the black magnetic key box fits nicely under the bed rail, and if it does fall off(bumps, offroading, or what ever) it will fall into the bed.
i personally leave my keys in my truck and it unlocked people dont even come round my house after dark ( i live way out down rural a county road) and two, if i'm out and about you would be one crazy **** to mess with my truck.

They ve stayed away for years.
I saw a guy with an 80s dodge, yank the lock strip out of his rear window gasket and pop out the non sliding rear window at a gas station one morning, he didn t want to break anything, once he got the corner started it zipped right out. Pure Genius.
