Question what to do next?

i have a 1991 f150 5.0 AOD 4wd and im looking for my next motor mod.

this is what i have done so far:
-6 liter mod
-full MSD ignition
-HD cooling system w/ e-fans
-SMOG delete
-AC delete
- BBK shorttys
-2.5" straight pipe duals w/ X pipe

and im about to order underdrive pulleys.

now short of serious machine work, or a motor swap what else could be done to get more out of my 5.0. i am also looking into the gt40 heads.

I would run the long tube headers instead if I were you. More low-end torque.
Have you upgraded to the 3G alternator yet, that would be best for your MSD ignition?

The only other things you can do is either turbocharge/supercharge it and/or K&N air filter. That's all I can think of, if you're not wanting to get it bored out 30 over.

Also how are you running your belt with the A/c and smog deleted?

Injector Swap? Not sure what injectors your running, but I read a great article last week on the 19lb. injectors and adjustable regulator. X2 on the 3G swap. Just did mine today and posted a write up on it. Not sure what alternator bracket your '91 has, but there allot of 3G/130amp alternators in the boneyard.

New performance heads is one of.the best upgrades you can do. And a new cam.to go.with it. That can completely change the engine. Remember a ltd sedan and a gt cobra use the same size block. But other than some strengthening its the heads and cam.that make all the power. Btw what's a 6 liter mod?

He has the 7" ears 180 degree bracket.

I've been told that if you do the GT40 swap you will need the fuel rail and injectors from the donor vehicle. But then again i've been told stock fuel injectors will work too

i have 4.11 gears, just didnt list them or my lift.

the 6 liter mod is a combination of bumping the timing, and gapping the plugs, look it up on fullsizebronco.com.

eventually unless i swap for a 5.8 ill look into swapping heads, and getting it bored/stroked.

i heard to take advantage of a new cam id need to swap to MAF?
