What is the tube that runs parallel with the injectors? It has open ports that are directly above the injectors. Is it for cooling the injectors?

The tube is for the engine after run cool down fan. It helps to cool down the head so it doesn't crack. I told you they are prone to cracking.

Sean, do you have to detach the exhaust manifolds from the exhasut pipe or can you just detach the manifolds from the head without removing them from the pipe?

I left the downpipes hooked up so I wouldn't break any bolts. I was able to pivot them away from the head for room but I had exhaust problems so you might not be able to pivot them away too far.
