Default Trailer wiring problems.

Both my 94 & 95 turn signals flas ver fast when I hook a trailer to them. Is this a voltage overload issue or maybe worn flashers? Trailer doesn' t matter. Both trucks with different trailers do the same thing.

My truck did the same thing any time I would hook up a trailer. So I just changed the flasher to a heavy duty one.

4 flat. I'll try to get the heavy duty flasher. The 95 model always has a fast flash. It may be bad even without the trailer. Thanks guys.

The factory flasher only works for the amount of bulbs the truck comes with. That's why when a bulb blows it doesn't flash. Adding more bulbs (trailer) makes the flasher go faster. A heavy duty flasher flashes at a constant rate so it will flash the same with a trailer, without or with a blown bulb.
