Why don't you find out and let us know.

I think around 96 MPH.

you guys are dangerous! my f150 doesn't like to go over 65 :-)

Every ford that I've ever pushed has stopped accelerating around the 95-100 area.

well I know it's not 96 and I've hit itva few times before. My speedo only goes to 90ish and the needle was on the black peg so I know it was more then that

I know in newer f150s the governor kicks in around 95 or 96. If you REALLY want to know you can get one of those portable GPSs. Supposedly they are more accurate than your speedometer (to 1/4 MPH if I remember). I know my '95 doesn't really like to go over 75, though. Trucks really aren't meant for speed (except Lightning models anyway).

My truck does 80 without a problem and tops out pretty easy now too.

Well, you mention FORD's and I have pushed my 94 and 95 escorts to 120mph, and my '02 Taurus to 110mph really easy. I think that I have had my '89 truck upwards of 85mph, but not much due to trust issues. As soon as I replace the tranny, I will see what she can do.

Well the cop clocked me at 96 mph...pedal pinned and speedo bouncing.
Laughingly gave me 5 over because he got to drive over a 100 for several miles to catch up to me. 96 150 300 I6....love that motor!!!
