Default Suspension question

Is there anyway to swap the frint end from coils to leafs? I just want it cuz i could throw blocks under the leafs and it would be easier to lift. I dont want a SAS tho just to switch my current suspension out.

The '95 in your sig? It would require fabrication because of the crumple zones on the front of the frame.

Not familiar with the F350, but the spring perch ends up on the crumple zone which isn't strong enough.

Move it where? You want the wheels under the doors?

That might look cool.

Sounds like a no go.

sorry to say bud... but you cant put blocks under leafs in front end applications for lift! its dangerous and illegal! its ok in the rear but never in the front! on any truck with leafs!!!

Besides all this being true, why would you want leaf springs and keep the TTB axle? Sure the 4x4 F250 in these generations had leaf springs and TTB, but it is slightly larger axle, not 100% on the specifics of that.

But my point is, most people that put leaf springs in the front of these generation trucks, do so to facilitate a SAS for better offroad performance.

Im pretty sure f-250 ttb was a heavy duty dana 44. A little bit different, but nothing major.
