Default super chips

is there any possible way to put a chip in an older model truck like mine?

Hypertech used to have one, it went between the ecu and harness, its sad nobody makes any ecu upgrades for our trucks, even though they are still more popular than most trucks on the road.

Not true, I just looked up a tuner for my 92 from Hypertech and Summit sells them.

I would trust hyper more they pretty much started the chip business.

All these inline chips do is bump the timing up pretty much....you can do that yourself. If you want tuneability look into TwEECer and Moates.

I have a 94 5.8 and the Jet Chip. It piggy backs on to the PCM. Was a super easy install. Gave me about 1mpg, revs much snappier, pulls a heck of a lot harder above 3300rpm but drives pretty stock under 3300.
