startin issues

Try reversing the wires from what you think it is supposed to be. "the guy" might have gotten them mixed up.

Alright... So did whacking the new solenoid make it unstick? Did turning off the engine make it unstick or did you have to pull the cable again?

its no longer sticking but when i crank it something it spinning down there but the starter isnt engaged so....flywheel??

Sounds like the starter bendex spring not retracting (as in broke) or starter at an angle that causes the flywheel to....what's w/ the shims?

i took them out its flat against the block now the starter is brand new i swapped it out at the parts store yesterday

my sister talked to her mechanic an work and since i replaced alot of the parts so far that it could be the throw out bearing?? as i give the truck gas the spinning elevates with the rpm so idk what if i have time tmw ill post a video of it

ive been posting that ive had to roll/push start it lol. but could that be it? idk anything about a tranny

ok i was told its not the throwout bearing. the guy said if it was when the clutch was in it the noise would stop but it doesnt so any ideas??

it's definitely not the throwout bearing, because it would rattle just at idle and when reved it would go away. I'm wondering if your starter is not disengaging all the way after u start the truck??
