Default stalling issue

my 92 f150 was runnin poorly at first, around 35-40 mph it sputtered alot and didnt wanna go, but at all other speeds it ran nicely, i figured it was a feul injection problem so i got some of that fuel injector carb cleaner and it started to run better round them speeds, or so it seemed to me, anywaze i busted a brake line and it sat fer a few days and now it will start but will stall if i take my foot of the gas and even fer the times it get it to run it stalls when i put it in gear, can any1 help me with this issue, cuzz i am just learning bout cars and am very lost

Test fuel pressure at the rail.

wont idle unless i give it gas, and also stalls when i go from reverse to drive, so how would i go about checking the fuel pressure if we have to keep pressure on the gas pedal, or am i just stuck and have to go get some parts

Have you gotten a good repair manual for your truck yet, they have alotta useful info on repairing along with trouble shooting guides. Iwould start with the idle air control myself.

Buy one of these (cable not required), do error code scans & post results! http://www.handsontools.com/Equus-In...ol_p_5574.html

Let us know the codes. We can define them for you and give you a direction to go. You can get a jump start before you get the manual.

i autozoned it up and the codes told me i had a high temp in my radiater and ran 2 error codes, but the guy there said it was probably my fuel pressure regulater, so i came and read up on it in the forums and ran into one with the same symptoms and it was the fpr i will change that out and work from there i think, bye the way thank you guys for all the support here its great
