solid motor mount...yes or no

Default solid motor mount...yes or no

I have a 96 1/2 2wd 5 spd I6 and the driverside motor mount keeps breaking...whistle...i might be a little hard on it when another truck want to go light to light...but i haul heavy loads to so is a solid motor mount a good or bad idea

Does it have the round hydraulic mounts or the square rubber mounts?

Same as mine.




I would look for poly mounts before going full solid.

If you have an oil leak putting oil on your mounts, it breaks the rubber down faster and allows them to break. Stop your oil leaks and make sure everything else is held down like it is supposed to be, and you should stop breaking them so much. Also check to make sure nothing structural is bent, if so you are fighting a loosing battle.
