Remove the U clamps shown in your top picture. You can probably just remove one of the U clamps and loosen the other one if you want. After you get the back of the driveshaft free the front will just pull out.

Try not to let those 2 loose round caps(will be loose after removing the U clamps and prying away from yoke) at the back of the driveshaft come off. If they do, make sure all the needle bearings are still in place, if not you can carefully put them back in place. Put tape clear around all 4 caps to hold the 2 loose ones in place until you are ready to bolt it back in place.

Dropped the drive shaft. So here the situation now. The parking brake doesnt work. I tried getting the pinion flange nut off, but it ain't budging. Wife held the brake, I block the wheels and still not breaking loose. I dont have an impact wrench. Just a breaker bar. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

Need an impact or a lot of muscles and patience. An impact is the 2 minute answer.

Yeah an impact or a longer breaker bar. If you use an impact you should get an impact socket so the socket doesn't grenade on you.

Don't mess with it if you don't have the tools & understanding to do it right. That nut is adjusted in a VERY particular way that's not easy re-set.

The same could be said for brain surgery, but you don't START by learning that, and you don't intentionally use the wrong tools just because you don't have or know how to use the right ones.

To someone who only has a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
