Default SAS complete

I just picked up my truck today from the shop where they installed my straight axle.

Pros: Tires dont lean in driving in reverse, tires will stay aligned, strength, truck is now level.

Cons: brakes are soft, its a tad squirrley driving but not bad.

Looks good! I would make some shock hoops and convert to coilovers. That would get rid of most of the squirrly feeling. I wouldn't trust my coils being bent inwards like that. Do they rub on the frame?

I'm not trying to hate on you here, but that set up is a little sketchy considering you paid someone to do it. It's one thing if its home grown and in process, but coils with a slant like that is not safe. I am pretty sure there were solid axles with coils available and unless you got a great deal I would demand the correct parts. Also the lift shouldn't effect the brake feel. Unless you are talking about suspension dive on breaking. Anyway , check out the brakes and good luck with the setup. I hope my worries are for nothing. But if you have any trouble take it back ASAP before they say your out of warranty.
