yes thats right my 88 F150 finally starts again and runs on idle for 7-10 seconds then shuts off. if i touch the gas pedal it shuts off. I could use some feedback folks. btw just put in the knock sensor

erm ugh it has pressure i know that but i guess i gotta rent me a fuel pressure gauge

a wee bit noisy i heard fords are notorious for loud pumps but i still think they may be a little too loud

If the frame pump is excessively noisy it may not be getting enough gas.

the high pressure pump is loudest, so that means im not getting enough pressure or that my tank pump may be taking a ****? seeing as how I only have one that works

Yes. I've ran my truck out of gas plenty of times to know that the frame pump is noisy when the tank isn't providing fuel. You want to check without the gauge? Unscrew the reservoir from the DFR and see if fuel is pumping into it. Pour fuel in it and screw it back on and see if it will run longer. It's before the frame pump:
