I have a 87 f-150 with 4.9 liter and 5speed tranny. Can someone tell what the black box is on the clutch pedal beside the white box on the clutch pedal too. Does any one have a wire diagram of those to items ?

'87 didn't come with the 5 speed, so somebody must have done some funky stuff.

If you swapped in the 5 speed which pedal parts did you use? If that is the newer clutch switch you would have had to put it there. You wouldn't need it because our '87s have a different one already wired in.

I use the 87 pedals and switchs. The truck has been fine for three years now up until two days ago.
