Default Headlight Switch Problem

I've got a problem with the headlight switch on my 1993 Flareside. When I pull the switch out twice, the headlights, running lights, and dash lights should come on, but only the headlights do. I have to fidget with the switch and push it in slightly for the dash lights and running lights to come on. When you pull it out once, the running lights and dash lights should come on, but that doesn't happen either.

I thought it was just a bad switch as it originally worked fine till I got a new **** for the switch, so I took a known working switch from my F350, installed it, and it still makes me fidget with it.

What's even weirder is the "bad" switch from my Flareside works absolutely fine in the F350.

What could be causing this? Thanks.

The plug/wires/connections to the switch maybe.

Clean the connectors with QD Elec Cleaner, check to make sure that the grounds are good. My guess would be the ground for the dash or the connection at the dash instead of at the switch.
