Default odometer issue

I have a 1989 F150 4X4 short bed with 6 cy engine. I just noticed that the digital odometer is not displaying. No info on this in my Haynes manual. Any ideas??? All other dash indications are OK

it could just be the cluster going bad, i would try to get one at a junk yard swap it out and see if the odometer works on that one. If the odometer works on the new one its the cluster.

Use the search button under solder joints, of course this is for electronic clusters only.
