O2 sensor problem
ive got a problem ive been working on for a while that i cant take anymore. my truck is a 96 f150 4x4 with a 5.8 and e4od. truck was caught on fire before i got it and i had to replace the wiring harness. it took me 3 months of searching to find something that works but what i have isnt right. the harness is out of a 96 f150 same as mine but had a 5.0. everything matched up until i got to the 3rd o2 sensor. i didnt realize 5.0s only had two and mine has 3. so the cel is on and all that good stuff. any ideas? would the 5.0 computer work for my 5.8? any suggestions would be great. oh and ive looked everywhere for a 5.8 harness. cant find any in nj pa ny de md.
my 96 5.0 has 3 o2 sensors, only thing i can think of is the harness is out of a 95. which o2 sensor can you not hook up to? the one after the cat?

Regardless, any O2 sensor after the catalytic converter is absolutely useless being the government's snitch. They act like they care making money and controlling emissions but allow a nuke plant to be built on a fault line then pump millions of gallons on meltdown reactors so the oceans can spread the radiation globally. Don't even get me started on the BP media blackout with anti-freeze dispersant, sinking the oil into an abyss. Anyone who sees past their attempt to create a global environmental disaster, bringing us into a one world government, needs to open their eyes, IMO.
Enough ranting, if you can solder and read a wiring diagram, a 555 timer circuit can built for under $20 so it can switch between .4-.6V every few seconds, fooling the computer. Here is an 02 sensor simulator based off the famous 555 timer.
