The reverse/5th shift fork isn't on the top cover, it's down inside the trans. That's the one you have to pull the tranny to change.

****ttt. Well i didnt know that. But anyways i put it back together and stuck it by the rd with a fs sign. Had enough of it. Thanks for the help anyways guys.

Cause im sick of working on it. Its a pita dropping that trany by your self and lifting it back in with nobody to help and the motor needs work anyway.

Gotcha. I've got help if I have to drop the trans. My buddy has his hoist ready to go for the oil pan gasket change and I'm trying to prep to knock out the rear main seal while I'm there. Not looking forward to it!

I did my rear main too but it still leaks dont know what i did wrong. The motor leaks from every possible point it can.
