oh okay well mines not limited slip unless its just messed up but also i have been thinking about a 5.0 swap, i found an efi engine...what would all need to be changed out to make it work?
will my 5 spd from my 4.9 bolt up to it? or do i need the 302 tranny too?

You'll need the wiring harness and computer. Your tranny will work.

If you go with a '94-'95 5.0 automatic equipped truck you can swap in MAF while you're doing it.

im not too sure what year the engine is out of, my buddy has one sitting in his yard.
and the why does it have to be auto? just curious thanks
oh and anyone know any sites i can get computer and wiring harness from? just cant find any around here on craigslist
the clutch would be for the 4.9 correct?

The clutch is the same. Easiest to get the harness and computer from the junkyard. The engine doesn't matter as long as it has the proper sensors but the harness and computer has to come from a '94-'95 5.0 automatic because those are the only ones that are MAF. You will need the MAF sensor and air intake ducting too.

NLOC has MAF kits for sale in the classifieds section on a regular basis...the next best plase to check would be Corral.net.
