the one on the transmission should be on the end that the drive line comes out of. right on top, it may be different with our vehicles though.

You don't have one on the transmission, just the rear end. The wires to the sensor are a common problem too. Test them, don't just look at them.

When a Ford has troubles, we do rename her "Dodge" and everything looks normal , okay?

On a Dutch truck forum I do read that Dodges do have a lot of problems... to often, I think. To me. Ford is THE truck above all the others. My collegue on our company bought a Chevy Duramax... I do not bother Chevy.. but I was suprised about the engine... A smooth running Isuzu!! That was wat surprised me the most, that an all american truck is built with a "yellow faces engine". when I drive an American truck, I want a low rev, high torque american engine.

i always thought ford never had problems but after buying this 1 iv spent to much on it. all my friends have dodge trucks from 98-2007 and 1500s-3500 gas and Diesel my truck has had endless problems. iv only had 4 months where nothing went wrong on the damn thing. my girlfriends 98 ram 1500 finally is having its first "big" problem and that's a new fuel pump. took a year for that to show up. i was suppose to retire this truck but i like driving it to much i bought a 2007 ram 2500 diesel about 2 months ago and am loving it so far.

How about we end the truck debate and stick to OPs problem. Go to "Off-Topic" and make a thread if you really feel like talking about that stuff.
