Default M5OD down for the 3rd time..

First of all thanx for any help in advance. Has anyone ever done a t-5 swap, tired of breaking m5od, not afraid to cut a hole in the floor.

From what I read '92-'96 are stronger than '88-'91. Either way, mine came from a '96.

I've overloaded my m5-r2 multiple times. She still fine. Might be because he is too hard on it?

How does that happen? speed shifting? these wont hold up to that but for normal intended use its very hard to break one...

Speed shifting is something these wont do...but anything can be changed even to a T-5 but I havent heard of it done here

well if you're running a 302 go to the junkyard and pull a 302 bell and slave cylinder and start there. go with an 11 inch clutch and you will need to get a custom driveshaft made. i have a TKO just waiting to go in my 300 f150 next summer. tired of the clunky m50d as well. These tranny's are weak...i had to buy 3 on my 88 Bronco II and 2 on my 87 f150...not worth rebuilding in my personal experience. better off doing a custom TKO setup just once. When I do mine i'll post a write up with pics and a parts list.

If money is not an object go with a Tremec t56 like I have in my stang...bulletproof with a Centerforce and a posi.
