low range does not engage

low range does not engage

I know this is a long long shot, but anyone have any ideas why the low range of my 4wd does not engage? 4hi works fine, 94 5.0L 4r70w tranny

possible linkage hanging up? spray linkage and work it around, or possibly a problem with that gear in the transfer case.

mmm just what I wanted to hear :_( not

where is this so-called linkage? is it the only suspect on the t-case?

Is it Push Button or floor shift?

You have to be in Neutral with your foot off the brake for it to go into low range

push button, I with I had floor shift

I've tried in neutral with foot off brake, doesn't engage. the tech at aamco tried it when I had my tranny flush, same results

low range does not engage
