Leveling Kit
I have a1996 F-150 2WD that I want to level. Any suggestions on a kit? Any unexpected things to consider? Most of the kits use polyurethane spring spacers. Cage off road makes aluminum ones but not for the 96 MY as far as I can see, they are really nice. Hell Bent Steel has some nice ones as well but again, not for the 96. I already have the cam style camber adjusters installed so that step is done.
Thanks for your help.

I guess replacement springs do make the most sense. It seems like, in the end, they are about the same price as a spacer kit.
So the question I have now is: What do you do to extend the shock mounts? Additional stuff to buy or ?
Thanks again.

I was considering drilling out the rivets for the spring pockets and bolting them on lower, effectively raising the truck. This would be low buck, but I never did try it. You would also have to consider the radius arm mounts and I-beam pivot points.
Well, I ordered the springs last night, $129. Could not find them on eBay. Anyway, I just had rotator cuff surgery so it will be a little while before I can install them but it's on my "to do" list, with a bunch of other stuff, once I get my arm back!
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

I didn't necessarily mean for anyone to try this, just something I'm considering. Mostly just wanted feedback, fully expecting to hear "No way man" or "Why would you do that?", but hoping someone would think it's an ok idea. Too many projects and not enough ca$h have me looking for low cost alternatives.
