Is leveling complicated?
Hey, I've got a '95 f150 4X4 and stock it's pretty low in the front so it won't fit the 33's I want. I would like to level it about 2" but would that mean that my steering will be off, etc? Also what would be the best way, I was looking at getting taller springs, but I was thinking that they would wear out in a couple years or would blocks under my stock springs be better? Thanks for the info.
Leveling the front will not hurt, no prob w\ steering, might even help with camber. A pair of Moog heaviest duty springs they make, or rancho or trailmaster springs will work, just check the specs.
Hey thanks for the info, I wouldn't level if I 'd have to lengthen anything. Also I had another question I would like to get 33X10.50 tires, but would that rob me of power and mileage? I've got a 351W with an E40D tranny and 3.55 rear end. Thanks again!
thats what combo i have. and yeah, it won't get you any good mileage. i get about 11, but thats with a couple things needing fixing, so i think with a healthy engine, you could get 13-14
the alignment is more than necessary, on the old faithful twin I beam set up, its a good idea to get it done after you have gotten everything you want bolted up, no need to eat up your new tires.

Hmmm, how much would it be to regear? Like say to 3.73 or 4.10? Though I don't think I'll get that low of mileage since at this point I'm getting about 17-17.5 normal driving, and also my engine seems healthy enough.
