Where is Indian?

any way, yeah, the screw driver will work. Or any long sharp object you have laying around, a long punch, etc. There is nothing on the engine to damage by poking a hole through the filter. Remember, it screws onto the engine but, just barely. Stay as close as you can to the engine but, I've gotten off by hammering the screwdriver through them near the end as well. Whatever works, really.

If you use a screw drive it might cut through it like a beer can. The metal is very thin. Try something like a file or rasp that wont tear through the metal so easy.

ok here is what i am going ot suggest, get someone to help you, but jam a screwdriver threw it and get your buddy one of you people twist from the top and the other twist it fomr the bottom, and just go at it from there, since you said it is on there pretty fkn tight, i would do that

I've always had luck removing stubborn oil filter with a strap wrench. That is of course if you can get to it. Good luck.
