help on injectors
Hello everybody I need some second opinons on injector size.
I have a 92 f150 with the 300 6 I am currently building my motor hyperneutectic pistons comp 268 cam deck zeroed out new head without AIR holes ported and polished bigger stainless valves roller rockers and a piggy back computer chip, and I'm keeping it fuel injected and I hqvent been able to get a solid answer on what size injectors I should use if anybody has any experience with the bb6 it would be helpful I know they have 12 pound injectors now that almost maxed out because of the high rail pressure anything is helpful

300-6 has 14# injectors which is comparable to the V8 19# because the 300-6 has higher fuel pressure...
if you build it right you wont need bigger injectors... the reason an engine needs more fuel with mods is mostly because it became in-efficient... if you keep the efficiency up you can make more power with the same amount of fuel...
you really need to get a live O2 reader and monitor AFR and see where you need to go before you invest in parts.... if you're not going to be full throttle all the time stock ones work with a little re-mapping to increase dwell time.... if you're going to be on the wood all the time you may need the bigger injector and remap to reduce dwell time...

The piggy back chip plugs into the ecm on the back there's a access to the mother board, since my truck is speed density the computer won't recognize the cam and won't change the fuel and air tables for everything I'm doing to it

the way speed density works (in my mind) is the computer says 'this is the timing advance, this is injector pulse, the intake lets in X fuel/air and exhaust lets out Y gasses' so more or less you have to tune by swapping parts and kind of go over the computer's head to force these changes. is this wrong?
