Default Help!!!

So I'm tightening down the housing for the thermostat on my 96 4.9 and broke off a part of the housing. Now auto zone has a pretty nice aluminum replacement BUT the dont cary the neck thing that screws into the housing that the temp sensor screws into. As you can see in the picture. Any ideas what my options may be? Or dose anyone by some crazy chance have one of these housings in the dfw area??

Well cut it off. Slice into the housing with a Dremel but don't go too deep, then split it off the tube.

I switched to a real nice cast iron piece:

Update. They do NOT make that part anymore!! Ford dose not offer our make the part anymore and auto zone never carried it. I found a place that had a couple still in stock for $41.00!

I wish it were the case here. But good news! I managed to heat up the housing and knock it out! I'll attach a picture of the before and after of the new housing.
