Global warming is total bs. I know you all thought I was a tree hugging Eco hippie. Almost every scientist on the board that released that global warming report sued to have their names removed. They say their findings were non conclusive, misrepresented, and grossly over proportioned by the politicians and Eco supporters ( non scientists ) on the board. The more likely cause is shift in the earth rotational axis. So I guess to fix that we need to build lighter cars on one side of the planet and heavier ones on the other. Also smog is at the lowest level its ever been in recorded history so how is global warming getting worse? It should have happened in 1966. The smoggiest point in history. I still think cats are good though. Ask anyone who grew up in los Angeles in the 60s when you couldn't see through the smog layer from an airplane. Or even the 80 s when we had smog alert days that kids couldn't go outside to play at school because it caused smog sickness.
Enjoy the snow. Here it was 102 than dropped to 60 then back to 80.

The earth naturally goes through hot and cold cycles. I learned that in elementary school.

Yeah they ignore that fact now. Many scientists believe that happens because of our uneven orbit and rotational polar shift. Which makes perfect sense. All that aside if you use simple logic and rules of matter conservation ( matter can't be created or destroyed only change form ) then the earth must cycle. If in the extreme all the ice melts, it turns to water, evaporates, turns to clouds, blocks heat from the sun, condenses, and rains or snows. Ambient temperature cools. Ice forms. Clouds loose enough moisture and dissipate. Solar energy warms the ice. Water evaporates forming clouds. Wash rinse repeat.
