Default fuel pump

Does anyone know what the fuel pump looks like inside the gas tank of a 1988 Ford f-150 4×4? Please help

Go to Rock Auto and search your truck for the fuel pump there... They have pictures.

I assume it looks the same as it does outside of the tank. But, unless you put a camera inside the tank, you can't be sure.

'90+ has a different pump.

My fuel gauge is staying on full so I'm guessing the sending unit is bad. I've looked up the sending units for my truck and I'm seeing two and three different sending units I was hoping someone had a picture of one for the model of my truck.

1st you have to figure out the size of the tank(s) you have. (Usually it's 16 front and 19 rear). That will tell you which sender you need.

thats right. i forgot the older models have low pressure pumps in the tanks and one high pressure unit on the rail....my bad yall.
