EGR code 33?
Is there a connection that could be seporated that would allow you to stretch a hose over and gravity feed Seafoam into the fuel rail and let it soak a bit and deenergize the fuel pump and pull the coil wire to turn it over a couple of times, But the setup wde Mentioned is the product I mentioned earlier.

My fuel pressure tester has a bleed off hose on it that you press a button and it relieves the fuel pressure to disconnect the hose. If you could force the Seafoam into that hose while pushing the button that might work.
You guys are getting in a little over my head... you gotta remember (if you haven't noticed yet) - I'm not a mechanic. And for some reason anything related to fuel or exhaust scares the crap outta me. I took the truck to the shop for the fuel tank/pump/sender job because I don't have the tools or experience to feel comfortable with fuel lines.
If I have to go out and buy sea foam, a fuel pressure tester, and maybe it'll work, I'd just about break even to have a shop use their machine to do it. (I don't have nearly as much faith in my abilities as you guys do)
And wde - I found the screw that you mentioned - I have the right hardware to get to it. Just not sure if I have enough patience left to get through it!

What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger!(or makes you wish you where dead) Go get the Inj. cleaner in the earosol can w/the despenser hose that screws right into the fuel rail. Napa carries it.(its like a Fix a flat setup)
I went to get the can that attaches to the fuel rail, and after NAPA didn't have it, I tried O'Reilly and Advance. No one had it, and there's no one else in town.
I got a can of sea foam and added it to less than 1/4 tank of fuel (probably 3 gallons). The truck won't be going anywhere today, so I figure I'll let it run awhile, let the stuff work for awhile, run it awhile, let it work awhile and see if I get lucky.
I have to work tomorrow, and the kids have all sorts of stuff going on every evening this week, so if I get it apart and don't have time to get it back together, I'll be hitching rides for the whole week.
If the sea foam doesn't do it, I'll have to wait for next weekend to open it up.

I don't think it's budging if it's clogged... maybe this is a wiring issue... maybe the injector is dead... Maybe it's just clogged so well that it's not gonna play games with me anymore.
I've been running the truck couple of hours all day. Thinking that the seafoam will work on the injector, then blow the junk out. It hasn't worked that way. I've tried tapping on the injector too, and that hasn't helped either.
It's sitting for the night with seafoam soaking on the injectors - maybe I'll wake to find out it's my lucky day. Probably not - and if not, it's gonna have to come apart next weekend.

We can only hope. by the way , Congratulations! You are now breaking Forum posting's equivalent to breaking the sound barrier: 20 pages of posting originating from 1 initial question. catapulting me across the door of the century posting club & anointed w/ a new descriptor "Senior Member" Does that mean I'm suspected of Mexican heritage & questionable work status? like "Mr. member" in spanish. OR just the normal member status Except for the fact that I'm also older than dirt.
Quite yer whining ! The newer members are gonna think you got lace on yer underwear! I think your looseing perspective or the Big picture and for whatever reason from the outside looking in, it looking in it appears that a tail is waging the hell out of some dog. Anyway, If you were able to eliminate your #2 problem and also know why after you methodicly did everything by the book every time you rescan the result is a rerun you stareing at #33 and #33 stareing at you. Think you could close the hood for the rest of the day????
I haven't opened the hood all day. I did start it, to find that the sea foam didn't do any magic tricks last night, and filled the tank with gas.
And since I get the joy of going to work on a Sunday afternoon here in a little while, I can safely say that I won't be looking under the hood today.
If, as you say, I could solve both issues (no fuel to cyl 3 and the code 33) I would be able to leave the hood closed for a good long time and feel pretty good about it!
