I've recently switched over from fram after years, to purolator pureone filters. My camry had the top mounted filter and the frams would drain back and make the car start dry. The purolators are made with much better materials but are still decently cheap. That's just my .02

I did the Oil Change earlier and stuck a Quaker State oil filter on her. Can tell it need the oil change as it's a bit of a smoother ride now other stuff is gooing to happen on Sunday or the following Friday.

Didn't read the whole thread, but I run penzoil conventional 10w-30. Runs like a champ at 162k and a whopping 1 drip every time I shut off the truck. Never uses any oil on the dipstick in my 3000 miles intervals. Far as the dist goes, just got a BWD cap, autolite wires and motorcraft stock plugs. I'd have replaced the rotor button already but everyone I put in there doesn't fit right...

Can't wait to see what the synthetic gear oil does with my gas mileage, since the little oil change my gas gauge barely moves. I'm running on the rear and that usually drops really fast and it's just gradually going down now Going to a Ford Dealership and picking up some plugs and other stuff if they have it at a decent cost.

I will be ordering an O2 Sensor online, since all the auto parts stores around here are asking $97+ for ONE!!!! When I can get one online for $20.... I crawled under my truck and could only see one O2 Sensor, does that sound right? I've heard of some having 2....

Which one?

Out of those O2 Sensor, which one will I need? I can't really see a difference in any of these from the one I have in the truck, so I can pick any sensor? This and my U-Joint are the last things that is on my to do list for the truck to run right. Next is a bit of grinding of surface rust on the body. Get it before it spreads and before winter gets here. Working on a vehicle in a blizzard isn't fun!
