Default Dash LEDs

Hey everyone I bought these bulbs to go in my cluster and AC controls. You think they'll be bright? I have the regular bulbs that are blue coated and they aren't as bright as the stock ones were so I moved onto the LEDs. http://www.ebay.com/itm/gib-5x-T10-194-W5W-Blue-LED-Car-Motorcycle-Dome-Instrument-Lights-Bulbs-Lamps-/181202034533?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2a307b9f65&vxp=mtr

it depends, does it have a lumens raiting? I would imagine they would be fine however I just picked up a 50 count 180 degree view t10 194 bulbs for 10 bucks. so shop around might find a steal of a deal.

Nope, no lumens rating. Just a current and voltage rating. The current is 15mA.

And another question.. Do the needles have bulbs or just putting the 5 bulbs in the cluster will make the needles shine? And I shouldn't have to scrape the film off since I'm going with blue should I?

I went with red on my dash I had to scrape off the green tint. blue is closer to green so you might end up with a teal blue green color. the needles run off the same lights as the face gauge. there is a little film on the opening you might want to scrape off too.

I don't think I'm gonna scrape it off since I'm going with the blue. I can't find any lumens ratings on those LEDs I showed in my first post, I hope they'll be bright enough. I plan on changing the AC control bulbs too have any idea how to do that? Mines the 91 4.9.

The ac panel is different material and I ruined my panels trying to remove the black part, I would stay with white as the blue will not shine through the red heat part of it. I have red less in the back of mine. And all I see is just the red best part nothing else lol and for scraping off the film tint it was like scratching off a lotto ticket. I used the same crkt knife in the pics to scrape off the film too lol just when your doing it try not to gaouge the plastic is all. Don't listen to the guy who's saying its a pain, if you want send me a gauge ill do it for you you just pay shipping both ways and enough money for me to buy lunch lol

I probably won't do the ac controls. I would scrape it off but I'm going with blue which hopefully will shine through plus I'm keeping the tint just in case I ever decide to go back stock. But I'll keep that in mind because my dad has a 93 and he wanted me to do red in his but I told him I was afraid to scrape it off. So if he wants me too I'll send his to ya sometime.
