This is why I DYI -- the time and energy spent on the first few DIY botched jobs STILL are better than the usual "you need new ball-joints/u-joints/'a bolt'/etc" HUSTLE run by many shops.

Not saying all shops are bad - but depending on the area you live in 99% of people who take their cars to shops have no idea what makes a car work, let alone what's inside of it.

Your tranny mounts and u-joints are probably good -- I know.. it sucks.. but this is one of the reasons I learned cars years ago, got tired of the hustles.

Not knocking da hustlas - Im just sayin' I dont want to be on the receiving end of it...

I dont have no where near the ability to rip out a trans or tcase. If I did, then I would have done it already. They got the parts in it, just gotta put everything back together now (I think) It prolly needs new u joints...thing is ovar 20 years old. I used to go to church with the guy who owns the shop, plus he has worked on this truck before. It prolly has a lot of problems that I dont know about. But I will slowly git thangs fixed. Hopin they cin have a new mount tammara mornin so i cin git my @#%# truck back

Checked on it again.... Apparently we had a miscommunication... No one ever ordered the mount... Everything else is back in, just need the new mount in, and my exhaust rewelded back together. Then I should have my truck back. I HOPE
