chamber problem
Hey everyone, my truck has a 3" body lift.
Recently I had procomp leveling springs installed with rancho shocks so that I can fit my new 35" on

When they did this they had to put a chamber kit in because of the levelling kit.
The problem is now that my tires look tilted in at the bottom (they look a bit pigeon toed if that makes sense).
I took it back to the shop that did the alignment and they tell me that this is a common problem with f150 my year when you do this kind of lift. He said with the Independent front suspension they have adjusted it as far as it will go and all I can do is rotate my tires every year.
Does this sound normal or does it sound like these guys are being stupid.
Thanks!

I think you mean camber problem. Assuming you didn't go with too much spring, you should be able to get new camber bushings with more offset and adjust it until your camber is right. How much lift did you get out of your springs, I know on Rangers you can get away with 2" of lift before you run out of adjustment (about 1 1/2" longer springs), still new to the F150's so I don't know the limits.
I'd go to another shop, that one sounds lazy (unless you got too long of springs).

I think if this was going to be the end result (tire eater), they shouldn't have went that way w/o first informing you about that big side effect, even if it was only potential. This is why, on some things, where our personal expertise may be lacking, we bite the bullet & pay a "professional". So we don't end up driving around, wearing our expensive tires out at a 40% increased wear rate. This doesn't even address any potential safety issues. If they want to be paid as professionals, make them prove there pro's and deserve your hard earned money. I think I have a couple of sheets of Law office letterhead laying around here somewhere.............. What's their address? Seriously, there is the Bureau of Auto Repair. "Safty Issue" is the operative phase of choice!

you need to drop the axle pivots. Springs will lift it, but the pivots play a part in your camber adjustments. get 1.5 or 2 inch drop brackets and you'll be ok. Also the way you're running right now, you are putting excessive stress on the ball joints.

Ok I will see if they will put the drop brackets in for free.
In the situation im in now, if i was to just take it to a different shop with my truck the way it is right now how much should it cost to get the drop brackets put in all said and done.
