Bumper project!
Yes Sean they are but bolt on hitches are made to go under a stock bumper and back as far as the stock bumper sticks out. So a stock bolt on hitch with a roll pan looks retarded! And hangs about 4 inches lower then the roll pan! But if you custom build it to sit close to the roll pan...then you got a sweet set up!
That's a damn sweet bumper man! I've never seen one like it, and that's really nice, great idea.
Strikes me as a more street oriented bumper though, I like having one that sticks out a little though, I want tubes like yours, but that go around those back fenders too

Make one out of exhaust tubing, ... lighter & multiple angle sharp bends are available from Jegs/ Sumit & Ebay in mandrel bent pieces, many sizes. Powder coat for total custom!

It might look a little bit odd but you have the extraction point you were worried about losing. I don't think it would look bad, especially if you mounted it properly.
