Bedliners, drop-in or spran-on?
My '94 F150 came with a plastic drop-in liner but some folks I talk with say that it's a bad idea to have one of those because the truck bed will rust under it. I have no idea what it looks like under there since I don't know when the thing was installed or what the bed looked like.
The same people who said it was bad to have the drop-in liner, say that the spray-on bedliner is the way to go.. The other day I was near one of the spray-on bedliner installer and they told me it would cost around $475 to take off my bedliner and apply a spray-on liner.
I hate to keep dropping more money on the truck for obvious reasons (mainly I don't have enough income), but for the purpose of keeping my truck in really nice shape I would consider doing this, What do you all think?
Thanks

My old Dodge had Rhino liner or LineX or some kind of crap like that sprayed in the bed. I easily scraped it off down to the steel throwing crap back there, so I don't really like it. It was a rear axle that did it though.
personally I love the stuff. Mine was a little cheaper though
300 for my old tacoma and 350 for my f150
small shop in town that makes their own stuff. Great guy and great service. So far it's also a great product.
Check out what the process looks like

i've been taking a peek at he Duplicolor Kevlar kit...also you can get a NICE diy kit from 4wheelparts.com and even buy the spray gun too! I personally like DIY before I pay someone to do what I like to do myself!
Spray on is much better I think ( If Done Right ). The drop in liners crack & water gets under them before you know it the bed is rusted.. Spray on seals everything & is water proof.. I just sprayed the frame of my 95 f150 & it came out pretty good, Also going to do the inside of the cab & the bed.. I will post some pics later...

that blows. I sincerely hope it was a one time things (although any reputable shop that does spray in will back it with a limited but transferable warranty).
