Default basic 1990 questions

hey guys! just bought a 1990 f150 xlt lariat 5.0 and i have a few questions

first off..... when i push the turn signal stick towards the dash, what does that do?

second... the windshield whiper blades switch is broken. so im not exactly sure how to make them work... like turn them a certain way or w/e. where can i find a replacement ****? idk...

how do i turn on the low beams? the instrument cluster says that the trucks high beams are on. how do i put them on low beams.

stupid questions i know. but answers would be much appreciated

Pushing the signal level will make the steering column tilt. To dim your lights you push the little buttom switch thing on the floor with your foot. And replace your switch for the wipers. Are you saying you need the **** too. Get one at a junk yard or i have a couple.

Could i get one online? i dont exactly have a vehicle salvage yard around my area. oh also. it dosent have tilt. i push it in and dosent move. also what is the red light below the steering column?

My truck dont have tilt either. But my lever dont push forward either. You can get a new swtch at autozone or a similar place for about $20
