Default Air Conditioning Conversion

Hey you all, I am from the northwest and just got a job down in Arizona, so I will be moving there in a few months,

anyways my truck never came with air conditioning, which was never a problem up here, but I assume once it starts hitting 110 I am going to be dying for air. So I was wondering if anyone on here has done or knows how to do a conversion to set up air conditioning in my truck.

I am planning on getting most parts from the junkyard to reduce costs.

Justcallmesean did an A/C install awhile back. Might want to try a search and find his thread as a starting point.

Box on the firewall with the evaporator, condensor, compressor, accumulator and lines. The box has the wires which plug in to the harness by the box. The only thing inside you need are the controls. Everything plugs right in, the compressor plug is already under the hood. Make sure to take all bolts.

Yea I do have a thread somewhere, with pictures.

Not sure, but pretty sure I would have used A/C and not air conditioning.

The biggest thing is going to be getting a new A/C compressor.
