That looks like the connector to the TPS which is located under the throttle body. Have your truck been acting freak with idle??

The TPS is on the bottom of the throttle body, but should have a pigtail coming out of it that may reach that connector.

The ECT is just below that, sort of tucked behind the throttle body and distributor. There will be a tube coming up out of the lower intake about 4" long, with a sensor in the front of it.

The IAT is also on the driver's side of the intake mani, close to that location - might look for it too.

the tps connected good to go, the ect is good to go however that plug is the act(iat) sensor plug but it's like the place where the act should be has never been tapped into the lower mani, it it possible there has never been one, and just the plug was there by default

The IAT should be either on the lower intake (down near the front injectors on the driver's side) or on the air intake tube depending on what style of intake/EFI you have. If you're sure it's not on the intake mani, maybe look on the air intake tube in that area. I can't imagine there not being one at all.

K&N as in the "cold air" or just a replacement filter. I guess what im asking is
do you still have your factory air box?

*EDIT* looking at your pics does not look like that connectors harness is long enough
for the sensor to be in the air box maybe lower manifold. Unless in that year they had it in the
intake tube.
