The '94 to compare to.......

I had a hard time getting a pic for the 95! Black don't show up too well. Glad your truck is white.

I wonder why they made that change and only on the doors? Strange. Body lines usually follow the body! Lol To be honest, I had noticed it on the passenger's side a while back. I thought I'd drug a stump or something down the bottom of the door. The only real dent on the truck is at the bottom of the passenger's side fender where I had hit a stump. Never even noticed it on the driver's side.

its not a body line.

its a crease to help with the water that gets inside the door and causes rust.

ive heard from ford techs that it was applied to ease of water drainage inside the doors. alot of the older models rust out there.

the door crease is also a nice way to tell if a door has been replaced, most people dont notice the line

Any rear window from 73-96/7 will fit.

My old body guy told me about the crease on 95+ trucks when I got a quote for rust repair.

Which was what? I see allot of the chrome dome/map lights in these trucks at the salvage yards, but they are all corroded and pitted and not worth the $5 I pay for them. Mine has just a plain white dome light against the top of the rear window.

This is the one I see most at the Salvage Yards

This is the one I installed on the 94 xcab. I had to drill a couple new holes to mount it, but it works great! It came out of the same Mustang that my lighted rear view mirror came from.

With the curved mounting surface on the regular cab, I'm pretty much stuck with the factory chrome dome/map and I don't want to pay an arm and a leg for a clean, uncorroded one.

That top dome light is the same dome light as my 1989 F-150 and my 1989 Thunderbird, it was used in Fords since the late 70s. The lower dome light was used it nearly all mid 90s to early 2000s Fords, my 2004 Mustang GT has that one.

Lol! The closest one to me is less than a mile away and currently about 8 f150's in stock. I know where and old closed down yard is a couple miles away and there are several f150's there. I can't track down an owner though. I've found allot of f150's sitting out the in fields around here, but I don't want to get shot or arrested trying to pull parts. I know where four or five complete 4x4's are all grown up in the weeds, but again, I don't know who owns the fields. We have ford gold mines all around us. Need to do some prospecting! I hate to see these trucks going to waste.
